Don’t Drive – Use An Auto Transport

When I moved from the Midwest to Southern California in the late 80′s I drove a U-haul and towed my 5.0 Mustang behind it. That was quite frankly the worst road trip I have ever taken. Going up mountain passes in the slow lane at 35 MPH was not my idea of how “moving out west” was going to be. It was awful. When I moved from Las Vegas to San Francisco I seriously thought about using an auto transport service to get my car up here. It’s only about a 7 hour drive, but I just didn’t want the hassle of driving. I eventually decided against it since I had to also transport 4 cats, but hadn’t it been for them, I would totally use this type of service.

No matter what your reasoning is for needing your car shipped an auto transport service is the best way to go. Moving is most likely the number one reason you would use an auto transport service, but there are many other uses as well. Buying a car off eBay? They’ll ship it to your driveway. In the military? They will ship your car to you and even give you a great discount for serving our country. If you have a high end sports cars or a classic car, they even offer enclosed shipping to keep it protected. With guaranteed delivery times, and virtual online vehicle tracking, it is definitely worth checking into when you need your car transported somewhere.

Share Your Sea World Trip On The Dolphin Blog

I’m still thinking a lot about my trip to Orlando in October and all the things I want to see and do. The one thing I am really excited about is going to Discovery Cove at Sea World to see the dolphins do their bubble show.

I was poking around on the SeaWorld Dolphin Bubbles Blog again as they have added new post and pictures today. They still feature the cute dolphin bubbles video and pictures, but I wanted to point out how you can share your Sea World experience with them, and possibly have it featured as an article on their blog.

All you need to do is email them a story, with pictures if you like, of your vacation to Discovery Cove at Sea World, and your story could be featured on their next blog post! I will definitely submit my story to them, you know…when I have one to submit I also want to do the whole Discovery Cove swim with the dolphins thing to. Have any of you ever did that? Is it just awesome or what? I would love to write an article with my pictures and submit it to the blog for the whole world to see!

Branson Missouri

Have any of you been to Branson, Missouri before? I always thought it was kind of an “old persons” (even older than me) type of vacation spot, but after looking around on the Branson web site, there is a lot of stuff to do there no matter how old you are. Am I the only one that had that assumption about the place?

They’ve got the Silver Dollar City theme park with over 30 rides and attractions for the younger crowd. But that WildFire roller coaster looks absolutely terrifying to me. Oh oh, maybe I am one of those “older people” after all. HA, nah, I have never liked roller coasters. The Titanic museum would be interesting to see, along with the Dogwood Canyon Nature Park. That place looks gorgeous!

Regardless, if you want to check it out Branson Getaways has several different travel packages to choose from, some of which even include your dining and shopping certificates to the Tanger Outlet!

I don’t know if the winter is the best time to be going there though. The 40 degree temps seem a little too nippy for my taste, but they do have it all decorated for the holidays this time of year.
