I can’t believe that Al Unser Jr. was busted for drunk driving within a few blocks from my house! Apparently he sideswiped another car and forced it in the wall along the side of the freeway, then kept on driving away in his Ford Excursion. He got off the freeway and was arrested a short time afterwards right by my house. Come on dude, this isn’t the Indianapolis 500. Could he have been that drunk that he actually thought he was in a race?

I saw this at Robyn’s blog and I got to laughing so hard. Apparently it’s a sign on the gymnasium at her child’s Chicago school. I loved it so much I had to make a little image of it.

Is everyone ready for Christmas? I am almost. I have a little baking left to do, and a few stray presents to buy, but after that, it’s party time! Then it’s New Years, then it’s my birthday. I always hated having my birthday right after Christmas. It seems like it always gets forgotten

When the boys were little we use to go to a lot of baseball games. Mainly the Southern California teams because we lived in Los Angeles. We went to Dodger and California Angel games and just had a blast. When we moved to Las Vegas we took a vacation to Arizona to visit some friends in Scottsdale. Their father wanted so badly to see a San Francisco Giants spring training game but our schedule wasn’t flexible enough to score SF Giants spring training tickets. We did get to squeeze in some time to visit the Scottsdale Stadium where they play and we got some good pictures from the outside.
