Weekly Deal on Buy.com Once again I have to share with you the greatest weekly deal on Buy.com. This week I bring you the movie I Am Legend (2-Disc Special Edition) 2007 for a super great price of $9.00 plus it’s eligible for free shipping.

I Am Legend is probably one of my favorite movies of 2007, and I have watched it over 10 times now. Will Smith just never lets me down with his acting. Do you like Will Smith? What’s your favorite movie that he has been in?

The last man on earth is not alone. Will Smith portrays that lone survivor in I Am Legend, the action epic fusing heart pounding excitement with a mind blowing vision of a desolated Manhattan.

Some how immune to an unstoppable, incurable virus, military virologist Robert Neville (Smith) is now the last human survivor in New York City and maybe the world. But he is not alone. Mutant plague victims lurk in the shadows…watching Neville’s every move…waiting for him to make a fatal mistake. Perhaps mankind’s last, best hope, Neville is driven by only one remaining mission: to find an antidote using his own immune blood. But he knows he is outnumbered…and quickly running out of time.

Weekly Deal on Buy.com I’m checking out the weekly deals at Buy.com today and I spotted an amazing deal on a Vtech 5883 4-Pack Cordless phones, Four Handset Cordless Phone System for only $64.99. That’s four phones for $64.99. I have this exact same system in my house that I use with our Vonage service although I paid almost three times that amount at Best Buy.

I have the base sitting in our front room, and it’s plugged into the phone jack. The other three phones are distributed around the house in various locations. Those only are required to be plugged into power. You don’t need a phone jack for those. Since I have Vonage (VoIP), I have the answering machine turned off, but if we decided to go to digital phone service then I would have the answering machine turned on. It’s also nice when someone answers the phone upstairs and it’s for a person who is downstairs. You can transfer calls between handsets just by hitting select and the handset number 1, 2, or 3.

Features

  • Enhanced 5.8 GHz technology
  • Four handset systemincludes 4 handsets and requires only one phone jack (only one handset can be in use at a time)
  • Caller ID/call waitingstores 45 calls
  • Digital answering system no tapes or moving parts
  • 20 name and number phonebook directory easily store and dial frequently called numbers
  • 9 number speed dial
  • WiFi friendlywont interfere with wireless networks
  • Large lighted display for easier viewing

I applied for a job at Macy’s. The job is a part time seasonal gift wrapping position that would start in two weeks and last until January. SEASONALPART TIME. I got an email that stated I was over qualified.

Well really Macy’s. Did you think that I wasn’t aware of this before I applied with your company? Have you read the newspaper lately, or watched TV? Our county is in an economic crisis, and people all over the US are taking jobs that they are over qualified for. It’s called survival.

How can someone be over qualified for a seasonal position, really? These positions are generally created so the company doesn’t have to spend much money on the employee right? People applying for these positions are generally looking for a little extra cash around the holidays right?

Whatever your thought process is Macy’s you missed out. Because I wrap a kick ass gift and I have fun doing it, with a smile on my face.
