Oh man, the last show of Season Two was amazing!!!!!!!! The twist and turns in the plot had me sitting on the edge of the couch for the full hour, and I ALWAYS lay down when I’m watching television.
If you haven’t seen this show, you just HAVE to rent Season One and Season Two (coming out soon) at the video store, or on Netflix. Then order Showtime so you can watch Season Three! You can also download Season One at Amazon UnBox, or on iTunes.
Thank you so much Katelyn (from Showtime) for turning me onto this show. You guys have a hit! Here’s hoping that Michael C. Hall wins the Best Actor In A Drama Golden Globe! I’m rooting for him!

I finally signed back up for Netflix today. We had it years ago, and I swore we had rented every movie they had in stock, so we canceled it. I was looking at it again this morning and saw they have tons of movies and series now, so I took the plunge. 4 movies at a time, and 24 hours of movies online, $23.99 a month. Not bad.
I added the following in my queue:
Then I got tired of looking, so that leaves me at 9 movies. I need to add more since 4 at a time is going to deplete my queue rather quickly. Do you have any suggestions for me?
You might remember me posting about Dexter a couple months ago, and how I was going to get the DVD so I could watch it. Well I got the first season of Dexter on DVD, and I am a HUGE FAN! In fact, the whole family watches the show religiously now after I called our cable company and added Showtime to our channel line-up.
The first time we sat down to start watching the DVD, I watched about 6 episodes back to back. Michael actually stayed up the whole night and watched the complete first season. I slowly caught up over the next few nights, and then we watched the second season DVD as well. That had 4 episodes on it, and we were all caught up by the time our Showtime was hooked up. Now it’s part of our DVR recording list. We got a cool Dexter t-shirt as well, with the DVD’s.
Dexter Morgan is a blood splatter expert working with the Miami police department. When he’s not solving crimes, he’s committing them, by murdering the type of criminals that deserve it. He’s hell bent on cleaning up all the thugs in Miami, from the sex offenders, to the child killers. If psychotic intelligent serial killers are your thing, you’ll love this show! I hope it last for many seasons.

I didn’t do one single thing yesterday around the house. I sat on the couch and watched TV, and I read a couple magazines. I finished one book, and started another. It was a very lazy day for me, but apparently I needed it. I feel really good today. Now it’s bust ass time to get all the laundry done, and the cleaning before the week starts all over again.
I’ve got some assigned chores for the boys as soon as they decide to roll out of bed. I even have a couple for Michael. My plan is to get everything done quickly, so I can plant my butt back on the couch for the remainder of the day. HA!
And don’t forget! Tonight is the night Zappos.com is on 60 Minutes.
EDIT - Zappos did appear on 60 Minutes last Sunday night (Nov 11, 2007) Here is a link to the video, enjoy!
Last week while I was home sick Rachel Ray made some French Dip Soup that looked delicious and I knew I wanted to try it. This weekend I started feeling better, so I whipped up a batch yesterday.
Michael and the boys liked it, even one of their friends that was over for lunch liked it, but I thought it was just blah, and not as good as it should have been. I even added Worcester (which is in every French onion soup recipe but this one) and used deli sliced Provolone cheese instead of the grated Parmesan cheese.
I mean it was edible, but just didn’t have that I Can’t Wait To Make This Again factor. Here’s the recipe if you’re interested in making a so-so soup. HA!
