I’ve written about my best friend before, but today I have some really cool news, and I am ECSTATIC about it!
I can’t remember now where I found this site, but the minute I saw the Glam God casting call, I had to tell my best friend Lisa. She applied just to stop me from nagging her, and they CALLED HER TODAY to schedule an audition for tomorrow.
She is a wonderful stylist and has worked very hard to make a name for herself. She recently worked on the Christina Aguilera tour, and has started to book some really neat gigs. If she makes it on the show, and doesn’t win, she will still boost her career and get recognition, RIGHT!?!?
I’m just so jazzed and I had to blog about it. I know many of my readers know her, so please…say a little prayer tonight that she will get that “lucky break” that she so deserves.

Yesterdays Free Zappos Shoes Giveaway was a hit! I watched close to 200 people start following Zappos for a chance to win a pair of free shoes for themselves, and ten of their friends. The lucky rotkapchen won the shoes!
So today, Zappos is taking it one step further, or should we say one hella giant leap? If you follow Zappos, you may be randomly chosen to win a trip for two to Las Vegas, hotel, air fare, a tour of Zappos HQ, and lunch with Tony, the CEO! He will choose the winner this Monday!

I guess my Husbands Vest Hot or Not poll is closed, because I screwed up and closed it, and now I can’t seem to open it back up. Hey, it was my first blog poll, give a girl a break will ya? Thanks for all the comments, they seriously cracked us both up.
So it’s official…the vest is hot, although most agreed it would look better camping/hiking/fishing and not programming. Although he could wear his PJ’s to work and no one would bat an eye.

I love my husband to death, but you won’t be seeing him on the cover of any men’s fashion magazines anytime soon. He’s a shorts and t-shirt kind of guy, and that’s been fine with me. When we go camping or hiking though, he likes to wear this vest. It’s got a gazillion pockets in it, and it holds all his crap…eh..necessities.
Recently he’s been wearing it to work, and I am just so embarrassed for him. LOL!
Him - “I look sexy in it.”
Me - “Uh…no honey, you look like a dork. No wait!!!! You look like a Boy Scout. Do you need me to sew on your patches for you?”
So to settle our argument, we’re bringing the issue to the public. We need your vote people!
