I’ve written about my best friend before, but today I have some really cool news, and I am ECSTATIC about it!

I can’t remember now where I found this site, but the minute I saw the Glam God casting call, I had to tell my best friend Lisa. She applied just to stop me from nagging her, and they CALLED HER TODAY to schedule an audition for tomorrow.

She is a wonderful stylist and has worked very hard to make a name for herself. She recently worked on the Christina Aguilera tour, and has started to book some really neat gigs. If she makes it on the show, and doesn’t win, she will still boost her career and get recognition, RIGHT!?!?

I’m just so jazzed and I had to blog about it. I know many of my readers know her, so please…say a little prayer tonight that she will get that “lucky break” that she so deserves.

To add to the madness of having a baby around for the weekend, I also had Courtney here. And most of you know what a handful she is! LOL! We had a great time. We went out to eat one night at The Outback Steakhouse, and took turns playing with Devin.

Saturday night we ate at Buffalo Wild Wings, since it was the only place we could find after 8PM that we could take the baby in. Then we came home and played a fun and wild game of Guitar Hero. Michael fell asleep on the couch quickly since he was “low-carbing” it, and Courtney and I stayed up until 3:30AM Sunday morning. Good times!

Whoa! Talk about a fun, but extremely exhausting weekend. Having a baby around the house takes a lot out of a person!

We had such a great time with him though, and I couldn’t have asked for a better baby. All he does is smile, giggle, and laugh ALL.THE.TIME. He rarely fusses, and if he does it’s just because he’s tired or hungry. He is just a doll, and if I was going to have a baby, he would be the one.

His diaper bag was packed with tons of little outfits, and I put him in everyone of them. LOL! This one is my favorite. He looked like he was ready to go out hiking or camping with us.

He was great fun, but I’m glad my baby days are over. We had a hell of a time trying to get dinner after 8:00PM with a “minor.” None of our regular places allowed kids at night! Something we’ve never noticed until now. One of Michael’s famous quotes from the weekend, “Having a baby sucks, I just want to eat some food!” Another one can be found here.

He is trying so hard not to fall asleep. He’s got three kitties to look at, new people to babble to, and a new house to explore.

Michael and I are going to play house this weekend. Like with a real live baby and everything!

He’s pretty animated in his facial features, so we’re going to make You Tube videos all weekend of him.
