DENTAL-WATER-JET-WP-100_LG If you’re anything like me you hate flossing. It takes too much time, it’s messy, and ugh…I just hate it! So when Waterpik contacted me and asked if I’d like to review their Waterpik Ultra Dental Water Jet I jumped at the chance.

What surprised me the most about the WP-100 is that after using it I felt like I had my teeth cleaned at the dentist! You know that feeling right? It really felt like that! I’m not saying that the Waterpik replaces those cleaning visits to your dentist, but it sure feels nice to have that feeling at home everyday! I’ve been using it every night before bed, and my mouth feels sooooo good the next morning when I wake up.

I have had gingivitis before and it is intesting to read what it does. Because gingivitis and gum disease can be caused by poor oral hygiene, gingivitis prevention and treatment often consist of removing plaque on a daily basis.
Adding a Waterpik dental water jet oral irrigator to your toothbrushing routine is one of the fastest and most effective ways to fight gum disease. In fact, a study by the University of Nebraska demonstrated that a manual or power toothbrush plus a Waterpik® dental water jet oral irrigator was up to 93% better in reducing gum bleeding and up to 52% better in reducing gingivitis compared to brushing and flossing

This would be great because the kids hate to floss, but don’t mind having a water stream ‘spraying’ in their mouthes – typically from a garden hose. This would be like bringing that outdoor fun inside to clean their teeth and gums! ;)
