I have been on a KILLER winning streak this week! On Tuesday I won a Tempurpedic Celebrity Bed from a Twitter contest, and this morning I won a digital camera from the @TapAndTake Twitter contest! It’s a Samsung ST550/ST500 with Dual LCD displays. The extra LCD display on the front is awesome as it lets you see the picture you are taking of yourself. You know…the “Myspace pose,” but without using the bathroom mirror. I’m going to give it to Justin, he’ll absolutely love it, and I’ll be the best mom in the whole world…for at least a couple days.

OMG, I won, I won! I won the @Protect_A_Bed and @EZDreamer Labor Day Twitter Giveaway which includes a TempurPedic Celebrity Bed from Mattress Firm, a Premium Mattress Protector, Allerzip Mattress and box spring encasement, and four Allerzip pillow protectors from Protect A Bed, valued at over $4500! It seems almost ironic as I’ve been bitching about my lousy bed on Twitter, and complaining to everyone I know how badly our Sealy mattress went to crap after only 6 years. We’ve both been hating on that bed and dreaming of a new one. YAY! The bed gods have listened.

I had the choice between a queen or a king size, and I picked a queen, which I quickly had to change to a king per my husbands request.

I chose a queen because my head and base board is queen size, not to mention all my sheets, shams, comforters, throw pillows, valance, etc., are queen size and matching. He said not to worry, get the king, and I’ll buy you all new stuff. So it’s a double WIN WIN for me, yay! Oh and Justin is scoring big time also. He’s getting our old bed, and he’s super excited about that. I’m sure it will be fine for him. He doesn’t have the aches and pains us old people have

Have you guys been watching truTV’s Rehab show? It premiered on September 1st at 10p/9c, and new episodes are on Tuesday nights at 10p/9c. It’s a train wreck of people that you can’t help but watch. It’s pretty much real-life television as opposed to reality television, if there is that big of a difference between the two.

You’ve got Matt the General Manager who calls one of his employees a whore because the menus were not facing the right way. Yeah, you read that right. Can you imagine your boss calling you that? I don’t know how he gets away with that. We’ve got labor laws here in Nevada like the rest of the U.S., right? Like I said, train wreck…choo choo.

Speaking of the Hard Rock Hotel pool, I’ve been to quite a few wild parties there myself. When my husband worked for Zappos.com they held their Vendor Appreciation Parties there for a couple years in a row. To get an idea of just how wild they are, here is a picture of us with the friends we invited to the party. There is no caption that could explain this picture so just take it for what it is.
