Time is winding down and I’m all packed and ready to go to the General Mills Table Talk event tomorrow and Monday in beautifully chilly Minneapolis. My blood has thinned after so many years in the desert, and I’m not use to the cold weather in August. I’ve got my parka packed

Forgive me Father for I have sinned. Well not me personally, but the girl in this video has. I’m not sure what this video is all about, but I was intrigued enough to post it so I can hear your thoughts also.

The video is from Red Chair Confessions and they are asking you to come back in a week to see what the big secret is. Obviously they are putting a sexual spin on it, but let’s face it, I highly doubt it’s about multiple orgasms right?! I don’t think it has anything to do with sex at all, but you know the old saying, “sex sells” so they just had to use that angle to get everyone’s attention.

My guess that it’s a fashion or shopping related advertisement. She looks like a shopaholic to me. Maybe it’s a new clothes store coming out, or OMG, maybe it’s a new shoe store, GASP! What do you think? I want to hear what you think her big secret confession is!

I’m way too impatient for this kind of suspense. I wonder if I can find anything on Google about it NOW! Make sure to pass it along to all your friends and see if they can figure the mystery out.

I first heard about the Green Monster Movement on Facebook when a few of my friends started talking about them. The movement was set into motion by Angela who is the author at Oh She Glows when she tried to create her own smoothies.

My healthy living website, Oh She Glows, is where I first started writing about my first shot at making a green smoothie, that I called ‘Green Monster’. Let’s just say my first attempts did not turn out that great!

I blend together kale or spinach, milk (almond or soy), fruit, seeds, powders, etc. and come up with some amazing Green Monster drinks! I have noticed a HUGE increase in my energy, along with a decrease in cravings for sweets. My skin has also become more clear and my hair and nails started growing like weeds!

I’m not a huge spinach fan, so I wasn’t sure how I would like these, but everyone was trying them so you know I had to try them also. We made the ‘Amazing’ Cantaloupe-Banana Green Monster and it was delicious. And you have to believe me when I say you can’t taste the spinach in them AT ALL, but you’re getting all the Popeye strength and energy from it.

‘Amazing’ Cantaloupe-Banana Green Monster

• 3 cups organic spinach
• 1-1.25 cups milk (your choice of cow’s milk, soy, hemp, almond, rice, etc)
• 1 tablespoon flax (optional)
• 1/2 banana
• 1 cup juicy cantaloupe
• 1 scoop Amazing Grass Wheat Grass
• ice

We used 2% cow’s milk, and I didn’t have any flax or wheat grass. (Mental note to get those two items) We layered the ingredients like she suggest, with the heaviest ingredient on top, and the light spinach leaves on the bottom.

They come out a beautiful green color, ice cold and ready to drink.

Yummy! I can’t wait to make another batch tomorrow morning.

Julie hasn’t blogged for awhile it seems, so I thought I (her notebook) would take over for her and write about my life. You see I started off as a very fast little machine. I had the power to run TweetDeck, Photoshop, iTunes, and two multi-tab browsers at lightening speeds. Julie filled my hard drive up with all her photos and music, and I enjoyed viewing her kids pictures, and listening to her mp3s when she wasn’t around. They made me feel closer to her when she was too busy to open me up and opted to use her iPhone instead.

Yesterday she finally booted me up again and I was so excited to finally get some action! All my excitement was quickly diminished when she went to the HP site and started looking at new notebooks. Was I too old for her? Was I not fast enough for her? What did I do to deserve this??? WAAAAAAAHHHH!
