Good girls have diaries... Bad girls have blogs!Oh dear, where has the time gone? Oh yeah, I GOT A JOB! I’ve been focusing all my energy into learning all about my new company, and how things work. I have a small advantage though, as I’m working at the same place Michael is, so I’ve heard bits and pieces about the operations for 8 months now. Also working there are two other people that I use to work with long ago, so it’s a reunion of sorts, and a lot of fun. I’m excited to get up in the morning and go to work, and collaborate with my old colleagues that I have such great respect for.
My job title is Social Media Manager and I’ve spent most of my time creating accounts on all the social networking sites, making contacts and well…networking. They also just had to let a programmer go due to poor performance, so today I got to learn some new skills like how to use TightVNC to edit files on the server, and phpMyAdmin to add new products to the database. Tomorrow…Subversion. YIKES! But it’s fun and exciting, and I’m having fun learning new things.
Once I figure out this balancing act of job/family/leisure time again I’ll be updating more often. Until then, have a good one! Miss you all!

Congrats on the job! I know that some stress has been relieved. I am not in the job market but it has to be depressing to look for something day after day.
