My grandson found a baby lizare caught in a spider web. He rescued him and we want to let him go. What does he eat? He is very small..about 1 inch. We have lots of lizares around..is it safe to release him?

I miss seeing them. I grew up with them everywhere in Cali, but they are nowhere to be found in Texas.
