Looks like an eastern fence lizard. We have some big ones in our back yard. They like to do push ups on the wall.

My grandson found a baby lizare caught in a spider web. He rescued him and we want to let him go. What does he eat? He is very small..about 1 inch. We have lots of lizares around..is it safe to release him?
