How’s your Twitter background looking? Did you make it just a single color or are you using one of the free generic boring ones? I’ve tried to make a few, but just because I’m equipped with the latest Adobe Master CS3 Suite of software doesn’t make me a graphics designer, right!?
My buddies at Blue Ring Design have stepped outside their zone of website design and started a new venture called Twitter Wallpaper. They are offering custom Twitter backgrounds as low as $75 bucks! That’s totally worth having your own custom Twitter wallpaper that shows your personality and makes people want to follow you.
So be a Twitter Rock Star and get your own twitter wallpaper like mine! @JustJulie. I sent them the colors and the content that I wanted and they came up with that rocking Twitter background. I just love it, although I am having them change the picture as I type this. I found one that I liked better than the original one I sent them and they are changing it up for me.
Not a bad idea! I will have to look for one!

I haven’t heard of this one….I’ve heard of all kinds of Twitter sites for various things. I think the latest one was “twellow”..yellow pages for Twitter. I don’t have a custom background yet!

I tend to use my tweetdeck–it would be nice to be able to get different skins for that.

I’m too cheap to pay $75. I’ll wait for the free version.

veinglory – did you know you can change all the colors on TweetDeck? It’s in the settings (top right) then under color/fonts. It’s not a “skin” per say, but it does make it a little more personal.

Yours is very cute. I think I agree with Eric though…Cheep, Cheep…oh I mean tweet, tweet!

Your Twitter background is really nice. I made mine myself but have no clue how to add info about me on the side. I’ll be checking this service out.

i think it’s a cool idea, but like some of the others, i don’t feel like spending $75 on one. i don’t use twitter enough to make that worth it!

Wow! I am not expecting that you can customize the twitter back drop. I will try this one on my account. Thanks Julie.

Well, as you know I’m a Twitter addict and immediately put in a request for an ‘ocean’ wallpaper.
He sent me one that I love but I wasn’t able to upload it – Twitter was uncooperative.
Now, I have a Twittad on my profile and can’t figure out if the two work together…
Anyway – they have some wonderful wallpapers and I’d really like to have mine customized
eventually.
