Tomorrow night Michael and I, and many other bloggers in Las Vegas, are gathering at The Beatles Revolution Lounge in the Mirage to show our support to have clean drinking water for everyone in the world. Really? Not everyone in the world has clean drinking water? Yes, that was my first thought also until I got off my high horse and realized that not all people in the world have the luxuries that we have here in America.

The Mission of the Twestival

Right now 1.1 billion people on the planet don’t have access to safe, clean drinking water. That’s one in six of us. Many communities in developing nations often have a plentiful supply of clean drinking water just below the ground, but no way to get to it. This is where charity: water and their partner organizations come in. Drilling a well can cost from $4,000 – $12,000 USD and many living on less than $1 a day cannot afford one in their community, even if the money is combined.

On 12 February 2009, 100+ international cities will be hosting a Twestival to bring Twitter communities together in an effort to raise money for charity: water. Twestival is organized 100% by volunteers around the world and 100% of the money raised from these events will go directly to support charity: water projects. By rallying together globally, under short timescales, for a single aim on the same day, the Twestival hopes to bring awareness to this global crisis.

If you are anything like me all your gardening supplies are strung out in various locations of your garage. I would love to have a dedicated garden shed to keep all my things nice and neat, and easy to find. Tiger Sheds has tons of them that you can buy and build in your backyard including ones that look like a log cabin! Those are so cute, I would LOVE it!

I am all about comfortable clothes. I wear yoga pants and tank tops every single day when I’m working at home. This also crosses over into the bedroom. I love to wear baggy jammie bottoms and either a big comfy t-shirt or a baby tee.

When I got the chance to review the lingerie at Yandy.com I had to step outside of my comfort zone and think about what my husband would like me to wear to bed. LOL! I picked out some really cute things, and I think he’s going to be excited when he sees that I got him Valentine’s Day lingerie as a gift this year instead of the usual candy and card.

I ordered the Charmeuse Low Back Sleepwear Babydoll And Matching Robe in pink. It’s really cute, and within the packaging came a pink matching hanger for it! I was so surprised and all my other items were packaged just as nicely! I was really impressed with their fast shipping and Yandy.com really WOW’d me!

I ordered a couple other little sexy numbers, but I don’t want to add a picture or a link because I want it to be a surprise for Valentine’s Day.

I know a lot of my readers are mommy bloggers with young children, so this ones for you! MEGA Brands Kids Zone has tons of games for your kids to play online and in a safe environment. They offer many different types of games like multiplayer, quests, battles, shooting, racing and drawing.

I tried out the Drawing Game and they have Fuzzies that you can draw. Remember the Fuzzy posters that came with colorful markers when you were a kid? I use to love those things, and they are just as fun on this site to color as I remember as a kid. I tried to do a free-hand drawing cause the drawing tools are kind of fun. There is a marker, airbrush, pencil, and a crayon. There is even an erasure tool that I had to use quite often. Hey! I’ve never claimed to be an artist so don’t be hating.

For your older kids who are into comic books, they also have a digital comic book on the site called Neo Shifters that’s all in video. It loads really fast, and it’s pretty awesome! There are a lot of fun things to do on this site, so when you need a little break, just set your kiddos in front of the computer on the Mega Brands Kid Zone website.
