One of my Twitter buddies @juliafish posted a tweet this morning about the Snuggie Pub Crawls that are happening all around the U.S. Yes, you read that right. People dressing up in their Snuggies and going around to bars and pubs drinking. WOW!

Even though it’s just a blanket with sleeves, we’re sure that you’ll enjoy a winter evening spent drinking with friends and the Snuggie™.

If you don’t see your city listed, you can use the Suggest Another City tool to notify them that you are interested. And yes, all you Las Vegas Beer and Blog people are coming with me! I emailed them, and you’re all doing this with me, even you @408down. I bet @vegasgeek will be all over this adventure! We must do this before the gates of hell open up and bring on the desert heat though. We’d all die of heatstroke.

Whooda thunk that Snuggies were going to take off the way they have? I’m serious! Those damn things come up in at least one conversation a week while talking with my friends. It’s just crazy! And I feel like I’m missing out not owning one for myself. It’s time for me to buy one and especially now that Snuggies are 2 for the price of 1. Then Michael can walk around in the house wearing his with me so I won’t feel like such a freaking dork. Well I won’t feel like the only freaking dork anyway

Now I’m imagining a group of us all clubbing it up in Las Vegas wearing our Snuggies. HAHA! What great pictures that would make! Hmmm, I wonder how those would go over with security at the door. I’m fairly certain there isn’t a NO SNUGGIES clause written in the dress code rules.
