I’ve been to a gazillion concerts in my lifetime but I’ve never made it to a Blondie show. Deborah Harry was all that when I was a freshman in high school, and she still is one of my favorite singers to this day.
And guess what? I finally am going to be able to see Blondie in concert! Michael and I will be going out to the Nevada/California state line to see her at the Star Of The Desert Arena in Primm, Nevada next Tuesday Feb 24 2009!
It’s Blondies Parallel Lines 30th Anniversary Tour and it should be great to hear them do all the old classics that I just love. I think I want to dress up all 70′s punk rock with some crazy hair, just to get into the mood. What do you think? HA!
I think that is a fantastic idea and will make for some great photos! The New Kids on the Block were touring not too long ago and one of my co-workers and a bunch of friends went 80s style and had a great time.

OMG, how awesome is that? The first album my dad ever bought for me was one of Blondie’s. I don’t remember which one though. LOL
Make sure you post pictures! I’m jealous.

I saw Blondie in Chicago when I was in college. She was at a music festival with Hole and took the opportunity to suck face with Courtney Love on stage.

Corrin – that had to be just horrible and disgusting! LOL! I talked to a couple girls who saw Blondie recently and they said she was just awful. I hope this isn’t the case for my show!

Bhing – I think you might be too young. She was pretty popular in the US in the late 70′s, early 80′s.
