Sat glued to the TV from 8:30 a.m. until right about midnight - taking short breaks. While the day was extremely wonderful, the vision of Bush heading off into the "I will never be in the Oval Office again!" skies was a thrill! Someone from Slovenia told me (after watching the whole ceremony) that Obama is more than welcome to come and enjoy a beautiful resort "Velika planina" (fresh air, spruce woods) and as a gift he would get a dog for his daughters - "kraski ovcar" (I think that's a native Slovenian breed). :) I had a phone call yesterday.
