Twitter Mug I’ve been wanting a Twitter Mug since I first saw them at CrowdedInk. All you do is enter your Twitter Username and they create a mug for you with profile pictures of all the people you are following.

I asked for one for my birthday coming up in 6 days (most girls want sexy lingerie, but geek girls like me, want geek things like this), but today I saw that Owen was having a contest on his blog giving away a Twitter mug, so I decided to try my luck at winning one. This is a picture of the Twitter mug that he ordered. Isn’t it cool??

If you want to win a Twitter mug, just post about Owen’s Twitter mug contest on your blog, then leave a comment on his blog with the link to your post. You can also tweet about his contest on Twitter for an extra entry. Good luck!

Weekly Deal on Buy.com Once again I have to share with you the greatest weekly deal on Buy.com. This week I bring you a Philips PowerSquid 5-Outlets Surge Suppressor for a super great price of $22.33!

We currently own about 3 or 4 of these now and they are way better than a regular power strip. The number one reason I like them is that it fits all my electronic devices no matter how large the plug is.

When I use just a regular power strip there is always one or two plugs that I can’t use because of the size of plugs on my printer, or cell phone power adapter. These plugs spread out and allow me to plug in all my stuff on one squid.

Features:

  • Input Voltage – 125 V AC
  • Output Voltage – 125 V AC
  • Power Cord/Cable – 3 ft
  • Receptacles – 5
  • Weight – 1.55 lb
  • Surge Energy Rating – 1080J
  • Current – 15A Line Current

Make sure to check out the Weekly Deal sale on Buy.com every week. They have great deals on all kinds of electronic items like external hard drives, USB flash drives, GPS units, and hi-def digital camcorders. They even feature diamond necklaces, DVD’s and software, and cool things like this.

Yummie Tummie Since the holiday season has started I’ve been over-indulging in some of my favorite holiday snacks, like cookies and fudge. While enjoying all these snacks, my waistline has been showing signs of one too many cookies also. Normally this would upset me, but not this year because it’s time to Eat, Drink, and be Yummie!

I just ordered a Yummie Tummie, and it should be here in a couple days. It’s the first shapewear brand that is comfy, sexy, and meant to be seen. They have 13 styles to choose from in 10 different colors. I chose the strappy tank in black so I can wear it as a layering piece under tops, dresses or jackets. The secret firm control panel shapes your entire waistline from the bust to the hips visibly taking off inches.

Heather Thomson, the celebrity stylist who has dressed Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez and P. Diddy, and the founder and designer of Yummie Tummie recognizes that we need to overindulge now more than ever. And who better than Yummie Tummie to bring it to you, because when you’ve had your fill – and then you’ve had some more – Yummie Tummie has you covered!

Yummie Tummie, the first shapewear brand that is comfy, sexy, and meant to be seen will visibly slim, shape and smooth you. It’s the first shapewear on the market that is actually comfortable enough to wear all day and evening.

Visit EatDrinkandBeYummie.com for a full list of all your favorite overindulgences, rate your favorites, and upload new indulgences, find recipes to all your favorite treats, grab the widget to add the daily indulgences to your site, and watch Yummie Tummie on Oprah!

I picked FEDEX Overnight shipping because I can’t wait to get it and try it on! Watch for a follow-up post. I’ll do some before and after pictures, so you guys can be the judge if it really takes inches off my waistline.

Edit:

My Yummie Tummie arrived last night, Merry Christmas to me! I did a before and after picture, and I’m sold! It really sucks up all my fat, and actually makes me have a waistline.

Before Yummie Tummie After Yummie Tummie

It’s really comfortable and today I am wearing it under a cardigan sweater. I buttoned up just the bottom of my sweater so you can’t see the waistband part, but the top of it is peeking out and it’s really, really cute!

I haven’t made Christmas cookies since my kids were really little. Normally I just buy all the goodies at the store and call it “homemade.” In my desire to heat up my house I decided I should get my oven running and make something in the process.

I was going to do the regular old sugar drop cookies, and then I realized that I had cookie cutters of my Mother’s that I used with her to make cookies. They might even have been handed down from my Grandmother to my Mother, but regardless they are old and quite possibly considered vintage.

Vintage Christmas Cookie Cutters

Does anyone know anything about these vintage Christmas cookie cutters? They are very light weight aluminum and they have no manufacturer label or stamp. From doing the math, I would be safe to assume that they are over 50 years old.

EDIT: Wow, while looking them up online they seem to be circa 1930. That would put them at almost 80 years old!

Here are some pictures of me using the cookie cutters, and here are the final product, decorated cookies.

Pretty cool huh?
