Julie – I’ve got some of these cutters, and there’s more. I don’t have the leaf or the bell, but I do have a witch and a turkey. Mine are copper coloured, and I inherited them from mom (she’d be 86 if she was alive) I also found a chick and a bunny at an antique store that looks like part of the set. Could you tell me where you found the online info?

These cutters are so beautiful, I’ve used them to make cutouts to decorate hand-sewn felt Christmas stockings.

There were many cookie cutters produced in the 20′s and 30′s after automation made the price of producing them much less. They were usually purchased through mail-in catalogs, like Sears & Roebuck, individually.

We've got a set of these floating around in our family too... will have to see if I can arrange them "floating" their way into my possession. I have the exact same set and I just washed them now. They were my grandmother’s, then my mother’s and now mine. I have enjoyed those shapes for 43 years. Glad to know they are still out there!

Great cookie cutters Julie. They remind me of the ones my grandmother used to use. I have no idea when she bought them but it seems you have found out how old they are already. I hope you had fun making cookies. We did ours yesterday and the kids had a blast.

Wow! Those look exactly like the ones my mom has and we used when I was little! I also like to bake to "heat up the house" a little. Lately it has been warm in Chattanooga, so it isn't really needed, but I think in the next few days I might have the oven on for something.
