I’ve got to do the proud mommy moment here and share some pictures of my son skating at the skatepark. The guys came out to Anthem Skatepark one night from ParkFliks.com and they got some great action shots of him. Thanks Ryan and Joseph!

Those are some nice shots. That first one is awesome! I have always loved to watch skateboarders.

The light does highlight more of your boy. It’s a really great capture and quite breathtaking to look at.

Those pictures look pretty pro. I know a few guys out of LA who are friends of mine who do that for a living. They just have sponsors then go around and try to make big jumps and make up new tricks and they get paid pretty well for it.

Nash, that is my son’s dream! He’s still pretty young in the sport (14) so hopefully I can bring some attention to him. Pass this post on to your friends if you think it may help, and thanks! I appreciate it.

I know that skateboarding is pretty dangerous most especially without a helmet but I still love watching skateboarders on the go.. They look so cool! And I should say that your son is good at it based from the pictures.. Great shot! :)

Bhing – I am not happy about his lack of helmet at all :(

Kids are amazing and so are your photos! What I keep picturing though are all those “bloopers” they show – that aren’t so much bloops but OUCHHHHHHH!!! LOL!

Diane – luckily I’m not at the skatepark to see the “bloopers.” My heart couldn’t handle it.

MyAvatars 0.2 frank on 23 December, 2008 at 12:50 pm

sorry i meant where is anthem?!

MyAvatars 0.2 Jules on 23 December, 2008 at 12:56 pm

Frank, Anthem Hills is in Henderson. You would get off the 215 freeway and head south on Eastern. Take the curve to the left that says “Anthem Hills.” The first stop light you come to is Reunion Street, and you will take a left. The skatepark is on the left, it’s huge and you can’t miss it.
