Good girls have diaries... Bad girls have blogs!While we were camping with our group last weekend, I finally got to try fire spinning or dancing as it’s sometimes called.
I’ve watched my friend Ron do it over the last couple years and I finally got the guts up to try it. I used his fire staff, which isn’t much different than the tall flags I use to spin in high school other than the ends are ON FIRE.
It was such a rush, and I can’t wait to practice more and get the dance part incorporated into a routine.

It looks pretty nice Jules. I wanted to try it too but the winds picked up and there wasn’t an opportunity.
BTW you had plenty of space around you during the spinning. Zooming in on you made the background action look much closer than it was.

Great job! I got into fire dancing because of this mantra ‘do what scares you’. Although I can’t say that I’m now an expert – it is indeed such a high to try it!
