The last time I got a flu shot was seven years ago. After getting it i was sick for three days!

I’ve been waking up to sniffles and congestion. Ugh!!!! I’m sorry you’re down with the sickness, Julie!!!

My flu shot was fine. I get them every year. I never have a stuffy nose since I started using a neti pot, or my snot pot as I like to call it.

Awwww… poor you! I hope you feel better very soon If there can be a silver lining to being so sick, it’s that at least you will have it all over with and know you’ll probably be fine throughout the holidays.

I’m getting my flu shot on Wednesday! It really does help.

I don’t get flu shots either. I am just getting over a cold I didn’t expect to get last week (boo). There is a good natural remedy sold in health stores that is pretty good– I can never remember the exact spelling….something like Ocillo something.. it’s big this time of year

Hope you’re feeling better today.

My house is split when it comes to flu shots. I’ve gotten one every year for the past ten years, and I haven’t gotten the flu. Maybe a few colds, but never the flu.

My husband is a paramedic, and he absolutely refuses to get the flu shot. He’s had the flu every year since I’ve met him. Haha.

Here’s to you feeling better. Here’s a toddy recipe for you!

1 oz. Brandy
1 Tablespoon Honey
1/4 Lemon
1 cup Boiling Water
1 Tea Bag

Coat the bottom of a mug with the honey. Add brandy and juice of lemon quarter. On the side, boil water and add tea bag to make hot tea. Pour steaming tea into honey/brandy/lemon combination.

I love the pouty face. I hope you feel better! I’ll give you my secret family recipe: In a cup of hot tea, combine a shot of whiskey (preferably Jack Daniel’s), a spoon of honey, and a squeeze of lemon. You’ll feel MUCH better.

Flu really puts you to bed for a few days not to mention how crappy it makes you feel (I get one every once in a while) – but at least you know you’ll be fine again in a week – while some other people aren’t quite as fortunate…

I heard the BEST cure for a sick day home with kids for mom only of course Mix Airborne, Oj and vodka, drink until you feel better, or worse which ever comes first.

Oh gosh I hope you got better fast, my nan always made me drink a pint of guiness to get better quickly – it tasted awful, but always worked. Now I cant have a guiness without thinking of runny noses
