My husband Michael wears contacts and we always buy them online from the same company. I guess we just assumed that they were the same price no matter where we bought them at, and never really thought to shop around for them. Until now.

I came across a super cool site called LensShopper.com. Their contact lens price comparison site helps you find the best and cheapest contact lenses available on the internet. Not only can you search by price, you can also search by delivery times and shipping and handling charges.

You can find all the popular brands like Focus Dailies and Acuvue Oasys, in all different lens types like daily lenses, 1-2 week lenses, monthly lenses, and disposable contacts.

One of my favorite features of the site is their RSS Feed where you can choose the contacts you wear then have the best prices delivered right to your feed reader. They also have a Google Gadget that you can add to your Google personalized homepage iGoogle, to make searching for your contact lenses easier.

I just love companies like this that utilize the Web 2.0 tools out there. I don’t see them on Twitter yet, but I’m sure we’ll see them there soon. They also have articles on eye diseases and corrective vision surgeries. LensShopper.com has a lot to offer, so make sure to use them the next time your need to order your contact lenses.
