I Fired My Maid I haven’t been at my computer much for the last couple days, because my maid hasn’t shown up for work in the last 3 months, so I have to clean my house myself. HA!

I’ve been busy cleaning since Saturday morning, and today I started in my bedroom. Dusting the bookshelves launched me into a full blown sneezing attack, and now I feel all crappy. I can’t believe how dusty they were. I guess it’s been some time since I dusted in there.

I’ve got the Roomba running underneath the bed, but I’m half tempted to pull every piece of furniture out of there and start with a bare room. I love that part of moving into a new house. Everything is all clean already. Maybe I’ll just find a new house instead of cleaning this one.

I totally need a maid. I hate cleaning. It’s like the worst thing ever. That and balancing a checkbook.

Bellesouth – I love how it looks when I’m done, but doing it sucks. I can’t wait until I’m a millionaire!

I could live without a maid if I just had someone willing to do the dishes!

Great idea… if it’s dirty in areas you can’t get at, it’s time to move on!

I love everything to be clean, but I hate doing it. I only like doing laundry!

I used to have a maid in Japan. She would come in 2x a week. Clean the whole house, change the kitty litter, do the laundry, iron hubby’s uniforms, and leave a fantastic meal on the stove. All for only $20 a week! (This was 1983, of course!) Oh how I miss her!

I’m the Queen of Unclean. I avoid housework at any cost. I honestly can’t do it though except for laundry and a few things here and there, but my wonderful husband hates when I clean and then am knocked out for days. Bless him!
