I had to brave Walmart today so I could get the new AC/DC Black Ice CD. Yes I’m an old skool rocker and I still like to have the CD in my hand and not just on my iPod. After Missy Ward video blogged about it the other day I just knew I had to get it! It’s really old skool AC/DC, and reminds me a lot of Highway To Hell, the greatest rock album in the WORLD!

ACDC Black Ice

AC/DC could rock back then, and they are still rocking today! The best $11.99 I’ve spent in months! I posed in front of the promo board at the store for a picture, but I need to swallow down about 4 months worth of alli weight loss pills before those pictures go up on my blog. Yes, I’m superficial like that.

Hair Color Remover and Re-Color My hair was getting too dark, so I decided to try out Color Oops Extra Strength Hair Color Remover. It basically takes your dark hair to light hair so you can re-color to a different shade that you want. I was pretty surprised when the color that appeared was almost the exact color of my natural hair, minus all the brassy looking pieces, and the gray old lady roots.

Before color removal:

I waited about 15 hours then colored it with LOreal Feria Power Reds Hair Color – #R68 Ruby Rush (Rich Auburn True Red). With the help of my digital camera, I took pictures throughout the whole process, and you can see them here. The color on the box was the EXACT color I wanted, but it didn’t really turn out like that. I still think it’s too dark.

I think I am going to have to break down and have it done professionally somewhere. I’m either going to have them put some honey colored high lights in it, or just strip it down again and go for the lighter color red I want. Or maybe I’ll just ask them to shave it all off and start over. Who knows.

Clorox Natural Dishwashing Liquid I’ve been really trying to do my part when it comes to saving our planet by buying products for my home that are safe for the environment. So far the things I have bought are working out really well for me except one product; GreenWorks Clorox Natural Dishwashing Liquid.

I had read several reviews about this dishwashing liquid before I bought it, and it seemed like it was going to be really good, just like the Hydroxycut reviews I read before I bought it. (Great stuff by the way!)

I have used Dawn ever since I had my own sink and had to do my own dishes. I bought it because that is what I grew up using at my parents house, and if your mom uses it then it’s got to be great, right?

Well mom knows best once again, and I am switching back because the GreenWorks by Clorox just does NOT cut grease on my pots and pans like Dawn does. Plain and simple. What dishwashing liquid do you use and have you tried GreenWorks by Clorox?
