As a teenager I never really had an issues with acne, but my brother had it pretty bad, and now my 14 year old is going through it. Hopefully it’s just a stage for him and he will grow out of it once puberty is all settled in and done doing it’s thing. Proactiv works pretty good for him, and I’ve read about Triclear working good too, although it’s spendy.

I get the occasional adult pimple that sprouts out right before I have somewhere important to go to, but I just slather on the Mint Julep Masque and it clears my face right up. It also scares the hell out of my cats too. BOO!

Wouldn’t it be all kinds of sucky if all these cracks were real wrinkles on my face?

I have had these EVIL CYSTIC ZITS that WILL NOT GO AWAY. As a matter of fact, I went to the doctor and got some depregnifying pills and am hoping my face clears up soon. I really don’t wanna go to the dermatologist.

But I oughta try some mint julep mask. I’m up for anything at this point.

Your face looks like one of those plastic terrain maps I remember from school days.

Breezie – see what I look like while we’re talking online? LOL!

Hey Jules,

OK, I’ll fess up. As a guy, it may sound gay, but it’s a great feeling for the skin after a facial mask.

Although, I’ll lock myself in the bathroom ’til it’s done.

For what it’s worth, I do you the Lab Series for Men from Aramis if it’ll give me any credit to be a man. :-)

Bellesouth – plastic terrain maps. HA! THANK GOD it’s just the mask cracking! Good luck with the pills, hopefully they will work.

Loukas Koufodontes on 28 October, 2008 at 4:51 pm

Loukas Koufodontes – oh come on! Live a little. I bet you’d get hella traffic on your blog from it! I know I would write a post about it and link you! LOL!

Sorry honey, your balls are bigger than mine for that topic.
My wife hasn’t even seen me with the “mask.”
Besides, it’s not colorful like yours.’ Mine is clear and looks very shiny.

I’ll think about it, but not now.

Loukas Koufodontes – okay okay, I’ll stop bugging you ;) But remember, you don’t use man-masks unless there are pictures to prove it ;)

Loukas Koufodontes on 28 October, 2008 at 5:28 pm

Damn you!
Picture this: Me walking into my bathroom with my Nikon D80 DSLR and my wife asking, what are you doing?
Would that be a hamana hamana hamana moment?

I might have to try that out! I’ve had really good luck with Cetaphil for my face and the moisturizer also. I had bad acne all the time, and then worse during PMS time. It cleared my face up for those in between times, and for the most part when I do break out it isn’t as bad. The price isn’t bad, and it lasts for months.

Steph – give it a try! It’s super cheap (under $5) at Sally’s Beauty Supply.

I have two spots on my chin at the moment and they are doing my head in big time! I maybe need to try my face mask on them! hehe
