Missy Ward asked me to be the Blog Mistress of the Blogger Lounge at Affiliate Summit West Jan 11-13, 2009! I’m super excited that she asked me and quite frankly a little in shock still. It’s a great honor, and I am just THRILLED about it.

I’ll be staying at the Rio Hotel and Casino and she’s giving me a Platinum Conference pass which of course gets me into all the fun parties, and we all know how much I like to party! YAY! I made my first ever video blog about being the Blog Mistress…ENJOY!

The keynote speaker for Monday, January 12 will be Gary Vaynerchuk, star of Wine Library TV and Director of Operations at Wine Library in Springfield, NJ. If you haven’t registered you can do so here and make sure to stop by the Blogger Lounge and say hi to me!

So what’s the greatest invention since the PS3 gaming system you ask? Oh you didn’t ask me? Like that will stop me from telling you! My mom didn’t get my 6th grade report card that said “Julie needs a muzzle” for nothing! I have a reputation to uphold; and I need to scan that for a blog post!

Almost every.single.night when I’m done with the working side of the internet I spend my time on Blip.fm searching for great songs, finding other DJ’s, and propping songs. It’s an addiction and I can’t stop it.

To some people the constant Twitter messages that pop up with every song I play seems to be a big annoyance. Since they don’t stop following me (LOL) I finally figured out how to play a song without it sending it to my Twitter! I can just hear you people cheering all the way over here. You know who you are. Love you girls. *SMOOCH*

Plantar Fasciitis Two nights ago I was lying in bed with Michael and I moved my left ankle because it felt weird and it cracked, loudly. We both thought, “What the hell?” but just figured it was like any joint that cracks once and awhile like your knuckles or your wrist.

Well I woke up the next morning and could barely walk on it, and now it’s just all achy and sore. I have no idea what happened to it, but it is the one I broke 15 years ago. Is it just now coming back to haunt me or do I have some crazy foot problem like Plantar Fasciitis? HELP!

Bacon Of The Month Club

Did you guys know there is a bacon of the month club? Seriously? Really? Okay, I guess that’s cool for people who eat meat, and you can actually sign up for them to ship it to your door once a month.

One good thing about their bacon is it isn’t the processed crap that you get in the grocery store. Did you know that the store brands are treated with liquid smoke and soaked in salt water, before it’s sliced and packaged? That’s just nasty, and that’s why it shrinks so much when you cook it. The Pig Next Door’s bacon is slowly and naturally smoked over a wood burning fire.

So if you like bacon, this would be a pretty cool service to have.

My son Justin might not be into futures trading when he gets older, but he’s one hell of a video editing punk, and that would be a fun and exciting career.

While he was putting the finishing touches on a video I made earlier today I was poking around his YouTube channel looking at his videos. He gathers up raw footage on all the skaters websites, adds music to them, slow motions them, makes the skaters seem like they are skating to the music, and whatever else it is that you do while video editing. He calls this a montage. All this stuff is way over my head, but he really enjoys it, so I must nurture it, right?

I really like the outcome, plus he has GREAT taste in music.
