The guys from Twitter came to my husbands old job a few months ago. He was kind enough to get me a Twitter t-shirt, but it was a size small, and a super small at that. There was no way that I could ever wear it, but I didn’t want to just let it hang in my closet. I dug it out of my closet and decided to make a bag out of it that I can carry my camera in when I go on my PhotoWalk tomorrow night.

So if you see a girl walking around with a Twitter T-shirt bag, you’ll know it’s me! Please come up and say hi!

It got dark out by the time I finished, so the lighting makes it look darker. HA!

Here’s the Twitter t-shirt before:

Here’s the Twitter t-shirt bag after:

I haven’t sewn in quite a few years, and I’m just not that good at it, but overall I’m happy with the way it came out. You won’t see me taking up sewing as a small business opportunity anytime soon though. I just got too frustrated trying to make this.

Cute bag, Julie!

The people from Lijit were at a function I went to during the DNC and I snagged some of their t-shirts. They are TINY! I got them for the girls to wear as nightgowns. LOL! They fit my 3-year-olds pretty well, I have to say.

I have no sewing skills at all so now I have something else of which to admire you. It looks great!

LOL – yours is hip and cool. All of mine are made out of my husbands old “freebie” shirts from tech conventions.

PS – the kittens have taken over the joint. They may be hatching an evil plot against the dog.

Laura – what is up with THAT smallness? HA!

Jules on 19 September, 2008 at 8:02 am

Connie, oh I did it wrong the first time and had to use a seam ripper to take it completely apart! 3 hours!

Jules on 19 September, 2008 at 8:02 am

Thanks Breezie!

cchiovitti – thanks, and LOL about your kittens!

Loretta – I’m sure yours turned out better, ya geek :)

Jules on 19 September, 2008 at 8:04 am

Alli – I’m debating on taking my black laptop bag or my “new” to me one. I guess if you can’t make it, your bag should be able to right?

Thanks Gina!
