Good girls have diaries... Bad girls have blogs!While cooking dinner last night I noticed something on the box of butter that I use. I normally buy Challenge Butter because it tends to be cheaper than any other brand, but now that I learned how they don’t use cows that have been treated with the artificial rbST growth hormone I will use them exclusively.
There is a lot of controversy over the use of the rbST growth hormone in dairy cattle. According to the FDA it is safe for human consumption. According to the Julie way of life, I don’t want artificial growth hormones in my food, thankyouverymuch.
What are your thoughts?

Yeah, I don’t want to consume any of that crap. Why would we want to eat that? The cows shouldn’t be getting that either. It’s kind of disgusting.

That’s the only thing that really counts. The FDA does more harm than good and FAR too many people follow blindly along assuming that because its a government organization it somehow knows more than you or I.
