Drew wrote about the Wowzio blog widgets he made, so I wanted to try it out myself. I created the Panoramic Slideshow one of all the blogs I read on a daily basis, but there are many different styles you can choose from.

It rotates through the blog feeds that I added to it, and will grab an image from the blog, with a small description underneath. You can see it in action on my sidebar listed under Blogger Spotlight.

While I am at it, let me list the blogs I added to it:

So let me know if you add this widget to your blog so I can check it out. I think it is a great way to spotlight your favorite blogs, and give them some love by getting them some extra traffic!

Colleen, you must be tired, but yes, I don’t think it’s too obnoxious at all, and you can customize it to your size requirements.

Very cool! I actually did get some traffic from it – that is how I found out about it – in my stats! I was telling Retta, ‘Look, someone put us in this widget – wonder who did it. And we’re in there with that guy from Lost!’

Haha! It’s definitely cooler than a regular blogroll!

It’s always good to share the information about the blogs you love and read. The main thing not to get commercial about it because in this case eventually everything will fall down to pieces.
