Well, that’s one week of school down. So far so good, except J.R. got a teachers detention after school with his Computer Science teacher. She told him that he types wrong, and he decided to argue with her.
Michael lost his job on Wednesday. Yeah, I freaked out. Yeah, I’m still freaking out. I spent the morning yesterday canceling medical/dental/eye appointments that I had scheduled. Then we went up to our local casino and ate at the breakfast buffet. Then we gambled. HA! Just $10 bucks though. We thought maybe we could hit the jackpot, and not have to worry about money anymore. You know, on that big $10 dollar investment we were going to be rich. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
So yeah, I’m pretty stressed out, and I’ve been worrying a lot. When I get stressed out, it manifest itself on my face. I’m breaking out all over and am in need of acne treatments. Heck, I could use a good massage also.
Everything will be all right. Everything will be all right. Everything will be all right.

I’m so sorry, Jules! Everything *will* be alright! You and Michael are both so smart – that I’m sure everything will be fine! I can’t believe the benefits got canceled immediately, though – that’s crazy!!
Ugh..teens…school…ugh – I just looked up the kids’ grades last night – Patrick’s already messing up! Maybe if we bang J.R. and Pat’s heads together – something good will come of it! Hell, if nothing else – it’ll make us feel better! LMAO!

Thanks Lisa, and {{{HUGS}}} back at you. I don’t think our grades are even online yet, but it’s only the first week. How BAD could they be? LOL!

That sucks Jules, but he’s a smart guy, he has good skills, he will find another job, it will be alright.
That sucks to have to cancel all those medical appointments.
Hang in there, it WILL be alright.
Kats last blog post..1 happy, 1 pissed.

Been there… make that, am there… and feel your pain. My husband has been laid off since February and you will be amazed at the things you will find you can live without as time goes by. I rue the day I have to make the decision to cut off my internet which is my connection to the outside world… I will cry. Times are tough. Now which one of the candidates said that our country’s financial status was in good shape?

daisysmom – oh man, that’s rough. I’m sorry you are dealing with the same
The internet will NEVER be shut off here. I’d probably go without water before that. LOL!

I’m so sorry, Jules. Losing a job is so hard – especially when you’re both not working now. Enjoy your time together right now as much as you can; it won’t last forever.

Thanks Amy, I’m working now though for a major flooring company from home
I’m making the “extra” money, that isn’t so “extra” anymore.
