Rick Sanchez is embracing social media, and is now using Twitter as a way for viewers to ask him questions, live on the air. High five Rick!
He actually used my question tonight, but I was kind of freaked out by his answer.
My question: “What are all the evacuees doing with their animals? Is there also some type of pet evacuation plan?”
His answer: “The buses would not let people take their pets, and that some of them left their pets with their neighbors.”
Uhhhh…didn’t those neighbors evacuate also?
Now I’m all freaked out that tons of pets were left behind, and that makes me super sad.
You can follow him on Twitter also.

I am so sick and tired of our phone ringing on Saturday mornings. It’s our day to sleep in, and I am constantly awaken by these annoying phone calls. You know the ones where you answer the phone and it’s a recorded message that says, “Please wait for an important message.” What the heck can be so important at 6:00AM on a Saturday morning?
Have you ever tried to Google some of the numbers that call you like that? Sometimes you can find a lot of information about the caller, and other times it gives you no results at all. Well next time you get one of these annoying phone calls go to AnnoyingCallers.com and search the number. Most likely you will find it there, and you can also read what other people have to say about these calls.

Sometimes it is tough to remember that Lil’ Chief is really just a baby. He’s only 5 months old, and just like any animal baby, he still needs his sleep. I made him a bed using an old wicker basket, with a pillow smashed in the bottom on it. Then I put a really soft blanket on top that I bought at REI. He loves it. Isn’t he cute?
