Rick Sanchez is embracing social media, and is now using Twitter as a way for viewers to ask him questions, live on the air. High five Rick!
He actually used my question tonight, but I was kind of freaked out by his answer.
My question: “What are all the evacuees doing with their animals? Is there also some type of pet evacuation plan?”
His answer: “The buses would not let people take their pets, and that some of them left their pets with their neighbors.”
Uhhhh…didn’t those neighbors evacuate also?
Now I’m all freaked out that tons of pets were left behind, and that makes me super sad.
You can follow him on Twitter also.

I am so sick and tired of our phone ringing on Saturday mornings. It’s our day to sleep in, and I am constantly awaken by these annoying phone calls. You know the ones where you answer the phone and it’s a recorded message that says, “Please wait for an important message.” What the heck can be so important at 6:00AM on a Saturday morning?
Have you ever tried to Google some of the numbers that call you like that? Sometimes you can find a lot of information about the caller, and other times it gives you no results at all. Well next time you get one of these annoying phone calls go to AnnoyingCallers.com and search the number. Most likely you will find it there, and you can also read what other people have to say about these calls.

Sometimes it is tough to remember that Lil’ Chief is really just a baby. He’s only 5 months old, and just like any animal baby, he still needs his sleep. I made him a bed using an old wicker basket, with a pillow smashed in the bottom on it. Then I put a really soft blanket on top that I bought at REI. He loves it. Isn’t he cute?

I am probably way too organized for my own good. Everything must have it’s place, and I always know where something is if I am asked. My organization skills have hampered my boys from gaining any themselves. Why keep track of things when mom is obsessed by doing it for us? I’m sure that is their thought process at times.
I probably get this from my mom. When I was a kid she had these sew on labels that she ordered from who knows where with my name printed on them. She sewed those things on almost everything I owned. Everything in my house, and everything I ever took to school. All my clothes, my dolls (and their clothes), my lunch box, you name it.
I remember going to Kindergarten with those labels on all my stuff. There was never any doubt what items belonged to “JulieAnn” just look at the label! Before I moved to California I inherited her sewing box, and I STILL have a whole package of those labels in there.
Today, there is no need to sew on labels anymore. Dymo label maker has these cool color labels that just iron on things like gym clothes, and towels. They also have the tape kind that you can stick on books, homework, and all their school supplies. I’d be a labeling maniac if I had one of those machines!

LBK and Lil’ Chief have really built up their friendship over the past two weeks. Now they are playing together practically all day long. They wrestle and bite each other, and it’s really fun to watch. I got some pictures, but I should probably get some video also. Lil’ Chief barks at her, if she stops playing for too long. The noises they make are hilarious!
