Wine Bottle Labels My husband Michael has made many attempts at making beer and wine in our home, and he’s got all the equipment that goes along with this hobby. For the most part the beverage has just been consumed by friends and family, but I know deep down inside he wants to sell his delicious spirits to the public.

Today I found a company called Label World that makes eye-catching wine bottle labels to establish your brand in the marketplace. For the large companies and the wineries, these are perfect. Unfortunately, for the small time hobbyist like my husband, this isn’t the company to use. Unless of course, his dream of starting his own micro brewery or winery becomes a reality. After all, that could be quite fun!

Hey Julie,
That’s very cool that your husband makes wine. I’ve been making my own wine for the last 3 years now and it’s not only fun but frustrating. I don’t press my own grapes, but do get the juice from crushed grapes.
As for the labels, I’ve been using Avery’s 5164. They’re just the right size for the bottles and they come off easy when you soak them in warm water. I use Photoshop to edit my labels.

My 2007 Syrah will be bottled in the next couple of weeks.
Bottoms up!!!

I would also suggest using Photoshop to edit some photos/drawings to create labels, you can do it yourself if you have a good look at wine labels sold in stores. Wish you best of luck with it!
