The Zappos Vendor Appreciation Party was last Sunday, which also happened to be Michael’s birthday. It was a private party held at Rain, at The Palms. They also had the pool area rented out for us, complete with penguins swimming around in the pool. They were the cutest things, and I wanted to pet them, but their owner warned me that they bite.
We spent most of the night out at the pool in a private cabana, sucking down vodka Sno-Kones. Not only did they taste delicious, but they were nice and COLD.
Some of our friends got a little too happy, and had to be escorted out by security. (Just kidding! I asked the security guy to pose for this picture)
Despite the fact that I should have bought some diet pills and taken them for about 2 months before the party to lose some weight, I had a wonderful time, and a lot of fun. Maybe a little bit too much fun??

If you know me in real life, or have spent any time reading my blog before this, you know I am a HUGE cat lover, and I even love the big ones too.
Australians John Rendall and Anthony Bourke bought a lion cub at Harrods department store in London. The two raised Christian as a pet in their Chelsea flat, until he got to big to care for. They only thing they could do was to release him into the wild in Africa.
This is what happened after they were reunited with Christian after a year of him living in the wild. Get out the tissue, this is really touching. The human-animal relationship is amazing…
