Good girls have diaries... Bad girls have blogs!We stopped at The Cupcakery today to check them out. I’ve heard great things, and I just had to try them.
There are so many kinds, and I wanted to try them all, so we got a dozen to take home. We’re going to ignore the $30/dozen price tag for a minute and talk about how absolutely del.icio.us they are!
Back row left to right:
- Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup – Rich chocolate cake topped with crunchy peanut butter frosting.
- Tickle Me Pink – Our signature cake: classic white cake with pink vanilla buttercream frosting.
- Boston Dream – Moist yellow cake, Bavarian creme filling with a cap of chocolate ganache.
Front row left to right:
- Chocolate Passion – Rich chocolate cake topped with the ultimate chocolate frosting.
- Strawberry Shortcake – Layers of moist strawberry and vanilla cake topped with a layer of strawberry buttercream and topped off with a dollop of rich heavy cream frosting.
- Pina Colada – Moist yellow cake, pina colada buttercream frosting.
We both ate a Boston Dream in the car before we left the parking lot, and Michael and I shared a Kir Royale (moist raspberry cake drenched in a bubbly champagne frosting).
As hard as it is to imagine spending $30/dozen on cupcakes, that image just melts away in your mouth, and you forget all about the price tag. They are just FANTASTIC!!!

OMGosh! I want those. I want to eat them and lick the cream off of my fingers. I don’t think I’d leave a crumb. They look fantastic! You made me hungry now, not good. I’ll remember this

They look so delicious and yummy. I still think twice on the price though. But if there’s really a way of pampering ourselves, indulgence of eating the finest will be great.
