choke Luckily, my mood to choke a co-worker struck right around lunch time, so I was able to leave the office and get away for awhile. And what do I do when the mood strikes to choke said co worker? I go to Walgreen’s and buy ridiculous amounts of nail polish. The lady in the cosmetic department knows me by name, and probably knows my credit card number by heart.

Never in my working career have I had trouble with co-workers. In fact, I married an ex co-worker, and many of my closest friends are ex co-workers. This one is just trouble…bad bad trouble. I’m doing everything in my power to just stay away from her, and yes that includes spending money frivolously.

What would you do if the mood strikes to choke someone? (hypothetically speaking of course)

P.S. (Happy Birthday Jane!)

Unfortunately, there’s always at least one at the office that usually needs a good choking from time to time.

We bought our daughter, Stacy, a punching bag. It comes in handy.

I got rid of my “trouble” team members a few years ago. When I had them it was terrible and it really rubbed me the wrong way. There are a few traits I can’t stand in people. I just steer clear of them these days. Good luck.

Been there, done that. Well, not actually choke a co-worker. But, I have come dangerously close before. I just try to avoid them at all cost. If you’re in a small office, that’s impossible. So, in that case, I’d invite them to lunch. Then I’d beat the hell out of them. No, not really. Good luck.

I would have usually said smoke a cigarette — but I quit. So I would have to say just walk away, get some fresh air, & gather my thoughts!

Try and get as far as possible away from the person, usually that entailed going outside for a smoke break. Although, I like your idea of going shopping LOL

It did happen to me. I had this coworker that really gets into my nerves. I don’t know exactly why we hated each other so much. Like you, i am not a type of person who gets irritated with my co-worker, i can easily work with just anyone — but to this one. Sighs.

Well, i just ignore most of the time and let time flushes the friction away. ^_^

Have a nice day!

Shouldnt let her effect your mood or your credit! Carry a stress ball around with you, it will help.
