It took me for-EVER to get to work this morning. Apparently, all the people that commute to work in Las Vegas didn’t get a chance to look at the fire damage on the Monte Carlo in real life over the weekend, so they all took the same freeway this morning to get a quick look.
It was dead stopped on the freeway with people hanging out the windows with cameras, and cell phones. So I figured…when in Rome, and took a couple pictures for myself. I totally forgot I had a sun roof I could have opened to get a better shot. Ignore the semi dirty windshield.
Then I saw a rainbow, that went all across The Strip. Here is the beginning and ending of the rainbow. I’m not sure which is which though
That was the most excitement I had this fine Monday. How about you?

I envision a day in the future when the Monte Carlo comes down and is replaced by a new casino hotel named “The Phoenix”
. . . Out of the ashes . . . .

Neat rainbow! And I’m glad the hotel is looking out for its employees. A sign of hope, perhaps?

I saw the rainbow too. It was nice to see. I thought a nice picture of the rainbow hitting the Monte Carlo would have been interesting. Since I didn’t have a camera I just went to work.
