The concert was really fun. David Lee Roth’s timing was off for almost the entire show, and Wolfie lost the rhythm a couple times, but over all it was neat to see them all playing together. After a solo with Eddie and Wolfie, Eddie kissed him on the cheek. I thought it was just so sweet.
I did notice a couple things about Eddie. He was wearing his wedding ring. They actually just finalized their divorce a couple weeks ago, even though they have been separated for almost 7 years. I also noticed him wearing a locket around his next which appeared to be a picture of Valerie in it. I’ve looked around the internet and haven’t seen anything about it, so I’m really curious. Maybe he’s still just in love with her.
Eddie and Alex played like they did 25 years ago. It was pretty amazing to see them still going strong. We had a really great time singing along to all the songs, and playing air guitar. HA!

Aw! I always think of him and Valerie together. So cool that he has a great bond with his son.
I noticed the wedding band, too, and the charm necklace! Thought it was very sweet! I always thought they were such a cute couple! But yeah, the timing got off a few times, but it was still fun! And the times when Eddie throw in some extra, or do something different, I actually like it when that happens, because it makes the concert more of a personal experience, instead of a note-for-note verbatim recital of the songs. I can play my cd’s and hear them that way. Let them have their fun, and keep it enjoyable for them too, I say! Keep on rockin’, and have a Great ‘08!

I noticed the wedding ring too and was confused! I saw someone standing on the riser where the audio (or something) was located, and the person kept having people coming up to her and taking her picture. I only saw the back of her head, but it looked like it was Valerie. But she could be there just for her son.
Anyway, it was exciting to see the show! I can’t believe how good of shape David Lee Roth is in now! He looks better than when I saw him 10 years ago.
I like Van Halen songs, it must have been really cool to watch the guys live on stage! 
Yeah, we flew in from Tennessee to see this concert. Saw their 2nd one in Grenesboro, NC. Wolfie is coming out of his shell a bit more but still has a way to go to to catch up to the swagger of these guys!
About the necklace: I’m pretty sure that is a picture of Wolfie when he was younger. That wedding ring could be his father’s, he has worn it as a tribute to him since his death years ago.
I think I read somewhere that his publicist is also his live-in girlfriend, so I guess that he and Val are really over.
I just saw Van Halen at the Giant Center in Hershey last night and it was amazing!! I saw them a few years ago with Sammy and Michael Anthony but it was nothing like this. I couldn’t get over Eddie’s new look!!! Sooo attractive. And he looks cleaned up which I hope he has. Eddie’s wedding ring did bother me too though. I’ve been looking all morning but not a lot seem to notice. So kudos to you for noticing as well!!
