I know we’re not suppose to sweat the small stuff, but sometimes I have the urge to vent those small things that just bug the crap out of me (and the big things too).
Here’s my list, now give me yours.

So how is your day going so far? Many of us realized last night that our Google Page Rank was smacked down to a big fat ZERO, including JuliesJournal.com. We’re all scratching our heads wondering what is going on.

I’ve heard theories that it’s Google’s way of penalizing people who monetize their blogs. Or it’s certain companies banners on your sidebar. I really don’t believe this at all. Many blogs are showing PR0 this morning that never do sponsored post, or paid advertising. In fact, my companies website which was a PR4 yesterday, is showing a PR0 today.
I’m just a sitting duck waiting for my boss to come in freaking out and asking what is going on with our Page Rank. I wish I had an answer for him, but I don’t.
How did your blog weather the storm? Did anyone actually keep their Page Rank? Any theories on what is happening?
Digg this.

Sometimes I totally forget that I have a blog. That’s probably a bad thing. They say you need to update regularly to have readers. I guess that explains my low traffic stats.
I’ve kind of lost my groove for some reason (maybe I should ask to borrow Stella’s). I’d love to say it’s because I’ve been so busy, but I haven’t. I’ve just been a real slack ass. I get off work, come home, throw something together for dinner, then hit the bed to watch the DVR. I can’t even make it through a full show before I am asleep.
I’ll just bullet some updates for now.
That’s about it. Hopefully I will snap out of this funk soon enough.

The weekend was filled with a lot of laughter, and a lot of fun. PostieCon was great, and the new Social Spark is promising to be a really good thing for the blogging world.
My feet on the other hand are in bad shape. I have a blister on almost every toe, and it’s very difficult to walk. To top that off, I was actually either stung or bitten by something while I was sitting at the table during PostieCon. The back of my heel started aching towards the end of the day, and while driving back to Colleen’s hotel, I told her my leg was hurting badly! We just figured it was all the walking, and I must have strained it too much.
After consuming all the open bar I possibly could at the after party at Tao, the pain went away. After getting home, and undressed we found my ankle to be swollen twice the normal size. We were too tired to examine it further, so I put ice on it and went to sleep. In the morning we looked at it again, and there was a puncture wound that was red. We got the tweezers and pulled out what appeared to be a stinger, or something. The pain almost immediately got better, and today I am able to walk without shuffling, but it is still a little sore.
It sure was fun meeting everyone and hanging out. I have some pictures uploaded to my Flickr, but I have many more on the camera I need to transfer over. I will try to get to those tonight. In the meantime, Alli took probably the best set of pictures I’ve seen from the weekend. She managed to capture a lot, so go check out here flickr also.
