I didn’t do one single thing yesterday around the house. I sat on the couch and watched TV, and I read a couple magazines. I finished one book, and started another. It was a very lazy day for me, but apparently I needed it. I feel really good today. Now it’s bust ass time to get all the laundry done, and the cleaning before the week starts all over again.
I’ve got some assigned chores for the boys as soon as they decide to roll out of bed. I even have a couple for Michael. My plan is to get everything done quickly, so I can plant my butt back on the couch for the remainder of the day. HA!
And don’t forget! Tonight is the night Zappos.com is on 60 Minutes.
EDIT – Zappos did appear on 60 Minutes last Sunday night (Nov 11, 2007) Here is a link to the video, enjoy!

I’ve always used my dishwasher as a sanitation appliance. What that means is I pre-wash everything that goes into it, and the dishwasher just sanitizes the dishes. For the last year or so the dish washing has been the kids chore. They take turns every other day, unloading and loading it, and neither one of them takes the time to pre-wash the dishes as I would like them to.
This really heebed me out, as I just couldn’t stand the thought of dirty dishes going into the dishwasher. HA! It’s not a new fancy dishwasher, and there is just no way these dishes are coming out as clean without the pre-washing. NO WAY!
It says right on the bottle, “No need for pre-washing” and the kids have used this against me.
Me, “J.R. make sure to pre-wash those dishes you are putting in the dishwasher.”
J.R., “No way mom, it says right on the bottle No need for pre-washing!”
Me, “I know honey, but it makes me feel better knowing they were pre-washed.”
J.R., “And it makes me feel better knowing that they are not lying about their product. I’m testing this out.”
Well guess what? They are coming out clean now that we use Cascade Complete. I refused to believe it for the longest time, and I had them test it for about a month. They come out sparkling each and every time. Even really bad stuck on food on the forks are coming out sparkling.
I never thought I could get over my phobia of the dishwasher, but I clearly can now. This stuff rocks!

Some people travel to Britain for the historical adventure, and some people travel there for the food. Both of those are great reasons, but my main attraction would be for the music and theater. After all, it is the home of The Beatles, David Bowie, and don’t forget William Shakespeare.
There is a huge range of accomodations to stay in such as London hotels, Edinburgh hotels, and Glasgow hotels. All of which are in the heart of the music and theater districts, where you are guaranteed to get a taste of the European cultural arts.
