I went to Bonnie Springs, yesterday and absolutely LOVED it. The temps were in the low 80's and the animals seemed very comfortable and well cared for. I had the best trail ride EVER guided by a REAL (cute) Cowboy -- he's a roper and bulldogger named JAKE. The scenery was absolutely GORGEOUS. Old Nevada ain't no fakey Knott's Berry Farm cleaned up version of a tourist trap, it's real grubby and dusty, and funny and FUN FUN FUN! The bar is a blast and the restaurant serves an excellent burger (for your $20 admission fee you get a $10 credit in the restaurant.) We even met Bonnie (tending to her beloved menagerie), aged 86 herself! What a character, she's a real beaut. I only wish we had more time to ride the train, and participate in the melodrama. Go to Bonnie Springs on a relatively cool day and bring your imagination and sense of humor, you will absolutely love this generous slice of real Americana -- Bonnie Springs is a true roadside treasure. Long Live Bonnie and Bonnie Springs!

Dude - reminds me of a place Mark took me horseback riding once. I wanted to set them all free - it was AWFUL! The 'trail' they took us on was full of rocks, boulders, and construction trash!!! It made me so sad - I was just thinking about that place last night..hmm... Weird how that happens!

Fake smile - yes. But - you look so sexy with your dark, pretty hair!!
