The plumber has not called, so the boys will be without a kitchen sink for awhile. J.R. assured me that he can take care of letting him in, and writing a check for him when he is done, so that was a nice gesture on his part, and a very mature one at that. Everything is good, and we’re leaving as soon as I get home from work and change out of my work clothes. I’m EXCITED!!!
Have a great weekend everyone!

One good thing came out of my house falling apart today, and that is Michael had to go to Fry’s to get a new wireless router. And since he’s such a gadget geek he just had to buy me a present while he was there. I got this!!!!!!!!!

It’s 4GB, so it’s got plenty of room for all my portable apps, and music too! I can’t wait to see it, and touch it, and kiss it, and squeeze it, and hug it, and love it.

How many times a day are you away from your computer and you want to blog something RIGHT THEN AND THERE? I do it all the time, and then nine out of ten times I forget what it is I wanted to write when I finally sit down. I hate that, and I want to blog from my cell phone. Like this weekend we’ll be out camping. It would be awesome to be able to use SMS to write and post a blog entry instantly. The guys over at GoLive! Mobile, the sms marketing firm, have it down! They’ve created the Internet’s first major SMS-enabled blog. Just think of the possibilities. I could be blogging from anywhere, at anytime. I’m going to look further into this mobile marketing idea, and see how I can implement it. If you want to see their handy work live, go read the Truemors.com blog.

Well happy Friday everyone! Mine is starting off pretty bad, darn! Our wireless router just died this morning, for no reason at all. Then our kitchen sink backed up! Michael tried to clean out the trap with the snake, and even plunged it, but he had no luck. The water just won’t drain. So he called for a plumber to come out, and they gave us a 48 hour window. He is going to Fry’s on his lunch hour to get a new router, so that is an easy fix.
Remember, we are to be leaving tonight for our weekend get-away trip, but we can’t hardly leave the boys home with a non-working kitchen sink. I’m sick to my stomach, I really wanted to go. I’m hoping for a miracle; that the plumber calls soon, and can make it out today.

I’ve heard about Mr. Happiness before, but I’ve never had the pleasure of seeing him until today. I was driving to the auto parts store on my lunch hour to get wiper blades for our cars, and there he was standing on the street corner. A big guy wearing a suit, with big funny rimmed glasses on, playing an electric guitar (that wasn’t plugged in), and spanking his own ass. He was smiling and waving at everyone and he made me laugh out loud, and smile back.

Here is a really good interview with Mr. Happiness explaining why he does this, and where he came from. He seems like a really neat person.
