So I called the school this morning, and the secretary informed me that she “wasn’t allowed to give out teachers email addresses” so I had her put me through to said teacher’s voice mail, so I could request it directly. Schools been out for a little over two hours now, and I haven’t received a return call. Sigh :(

Do you correspond with your kids teachers through email? It sure makes it much easier, considering I sit in front of a computer ALL.DAY.LONG.

By now you’ve all seen Miss South Carolina fumble her answer last Friday night at the Miss Dumb…errr…Miss Teen USA pageant right? It’s gotten over 7 million views, but here it is if you haven’t seen it.

The Question: Recent polls have shown that a 5th of American’s can’t locate the US on a map. Why do you think that is?

Answer:

But have you seen the parodies and the remixes? HAHAHA!

I know there are more, so link me in my comments if you know of a good one. This will never stop being funny to me.

Day two of school is over and we’re holding strong with straight A’s! YAY! I just had to say that, because it’s probably the only time in my boys school lives that I can proclaim that.

So far they both like all their teachers, except Justin has one (pre-algebra) that speaks with such a heavy Indian accent that he can’t understand her :( That’s not cool. I told him that as time goes on in her class, it should get easier, as he gets use to her voice.

I was reading over all the class syllabuses tonight and most of them were very good, with a lot of great information in them, except one. The teacher stated that we could email her at anytime, yet she didn’t put her email anywhere on the paper. Ai Yi Yi! I’ll be calling the school in the morning, pointing this error out, and getting the address from the office.

Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi Digital SLR Camera I’m still totally in love with the camera, and the more reviews I read about it, the more I want it. I first saw it in an ad in my Lucky magazine of all places. It was a cardboard cutout of the actual size that you could pull out of the magazine to get an idea of just how small this camera really is.

I did a little more research on TestFreaks.com, the site I wrote about before. They have a lot of digital camera ratings on this camera, written by all kinds of consumers, and the majority of them are good. It doesn’t come with that lens though, that is extra. This is going on my Christmas list for sure.
