I use to spend hundreds of dollars a month on makeup. I only bought a certain brand, and I had to go to the department store to get it. I read so many stories online how the products you can buy at Target are just as good, if not better, and of course cheaper.

So I fell out of that trap of having to use the “expensive” stuff, and I am happy with my decision. It gives me the chance to try new things out without spending a fortune doing it.

Like the new lip gloss I bought for $5.99. It’s called Covergirl Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers, and I bought the Plum Splash. It’s not sticky and heavy like some glosses, and it really does last a long time. Well that is if I’m not licking my lips all day long. It taste so good! It’s like totally delicious tasting, and I can’t help but wonder if it falls into my recommended daily fruit intake.

The color is great for during the day. It’s just a tint of color with a glossy look. I can’t stand the look for dark heavy lipstick on chicks in the middle of the day. Save it for the club at night woman, you look awful! LOL! You gotta go buy some of this stuff. You’ll love it.

Hey, well, okay! I made it to work. 45 minutes late, but I made it here. What a flipping chaotic morning I had! Can I just get a do-over up in here?

For starters I woke up at 6:47AM. I normally get up at 6:00AM when my alarm goes off, but did you know you actually have to turn it on the night before, for it to work? Ooops! So I wake everyone up, and we were all in fast forward trying to get out the door at 7:15AM. We didn’t. We left around 7:35AM.

I got the boys to school on time, but it was inevitable that I was going to be late. Instead of driving a hundred miles an hour to get here, I figured that I was already late, so I may as well just drive safe and get here, when I get here.

Before I got on the freeway I stopped for a cup of coffee. I was standing in line to pay, and I took a sip of my coffee, which turned into the whole cup pouring down the front of me. I didn’t put the lid on as tight as it should be, and I threw out a very large F-Bomb because for one it was hot as hell, and for two, I had on a white shirt that was now brown. The cashier looked up at me, the people in line turned around and stared, and the guy behind me goes, “Niiiiiiiicccccccce.”

So I had to turn back around, go home, throw my shirt and pants in the washing machine, change, and get back on the road. Good times! But the boys got to school on time, and personally that is all I really care about. How was your morning?
