I was eating my lunch today and watching CNN, when they did a story on Oscar the cat. He’s a 2-year old who was adopted, and grew up at the Steere House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rhode Island.

He walks around the nursing home, making his rounds, just like a doctor would. He has a strange sense that when a patient it going to die, and he will jump up on their bed and curl up with them. So far his accuracy rate is 100%. He’s done this with 25 patients that had eventually died within hours!

I’m sure there is some explanation for this by the “experts” but I would like to believe that Oscar is just a special kitty who comforts the patients during their last moments on earth.

I’ve had broadband in my home for years now. We have the fastest (5 megs) that our cable company offers, and I would never have anything less. We pay though the nose for it though, and it’s not a cheap broadband bill.

I don’t think we have any options around here though like broadband UK does. Well maybe we do, I just have never looked into switching, as I am happy with the company we have. The company I linked to helps you compare broadband in the UK. I wonder if we have anything like that in my area?

It’s so weird when I get to work and sit here waiting and waiting for pages to load. This place needs some speed! Do you have a faster or slower connection at your job?

I’m sitting here at my desk working away, and eating a bag of CornNuts. I’m plopping them in my mouth one at a time, typing away, and going about my own business. In walks in my boss, just as I was shoving another one in my mouth. I missed my mouth and it fell down my shirt, and sat there in my cleavage.

So the whole time he is standing here talking to me I am thinking about this damn CornNut on my boob, and wondering if he can see it. I didn’t hear a word he said to me. The minute he leaves, I start fishing it out, when in walks one of the sys admin guys. He just looked at me, laughed, and kept walking back into the phone room. I’m so embarrassed.

I’m leaving work in 9 minutes, and I have to stop at the store to pick something up for dinner, yet I can’t decide what to make!!! Normally this would mean me going though a fast food drive thru, but I promised myself I would cook all this week, so I have to come up with something!
