Some of my older readers may remember when Pink Floyd released We Don’t Need No Education in 1979. It quickly became the teen angst anthem. Remember the verses, “no dark sarcasm in the classroom” or “we don’t need no thought control?”

We brought our boom boxes on the school bus, and jammed this song before we sat through Mr. Meeker’s Government class. Oh what a moron he was. I fantasized about choking him on a daily basis. He hated women, and as a women, I hated him.

Hey Mr. Meeker! Remember when you got off work and you couldn’t leave because your tires were flat? Yes, that was me. And I laughed my ass off about it for days you sucker! The only thing that would have made it better at the time was YouTube.com.

JR told me about the new song he liked tonight. It sparked my blog entry so I thought I would share it. The new teenager angst???

I’ve always loved Pink. After all she married a local boy, and they both live here now. I had heard a rumor that Carey Hart gave out cool toys at Halloween, so a few years back we tested this out, and it’s true! He gives out Hot Wheels with a big candy bar! HA! Even to moms…LOL! I’m one of those star struck people and I couldn’t breath when he answered the door. I was in desperate need of a pulse oximeter right about that time. I love this song by Pink they have been playing on the radio lately, and it always puts me in a good mood during my commute.

Driving home from work is usually a smooth ride, but yesterday, and today, there was a fairly large accident in the exact same spot. This time I must have just hit it at a bad time, because I sat on the freeway not moving for a good 10 minutes. I called Michael, he worked from home today, to see if they said anything about it on the TV, because the radio stations would rather play that damn Hey There Delilah song for the 38th time today instead of giving us a traffic report. He didn’t know anything, so I just had to wait until we started moving again. I need a TrafficGauge!

TrafficGauge device offers real-time traffic anytime, anywhere with the TrafficGauge handheld, TrafficGauge for Cell, TrafficGauge for PC, TrafficGauge for Widget Suite and TrafficGauge for iPhone. Each product or service offers simple to use and easy to read traffic maps. These maps are the best in the industry. The device is an award winning, customer-loving favorite for navigating traffic in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle. The cell phone and PC/Mac software is free and works in most major metropolitan markets.

Tony over at PayU2Blog is started a series on their corporate blog about what makes a good blog. Today his topic was buying your own domain name, and hosting it yourself, instead of using one of the free services out there. I know the free ones are good to start with, and we were all there at one point of our blogging careers, but if you serious about making money with your blog, then you need to follow his tips.

Tony is a pretty neat guy, as he was a guest on Colleen’s talk radio show last weekend. After the show some of us got together and were talking about how sexy Tony’s voice is. In fact, I think some of the girls were checking out Wilmington NC real estate to live closer to him. HA!
