Ethan took driver's ed, so that helped, but we still had to log 50 hours of driving time before he even took the class. Ddin't make sense to me. I thought he should have taken driver's ed FIRST, and then we log hours. He's had 2 fender benders already. NOT a good deal. But nothing compared to how my heart stopped the othe rnight when I heard a car pull away from our house"too quickly for my taste" -- and when I called him to tell him he had better slow it down, I hear all these teen age boys yelling "look out" "you're an idiot" -- and Ethan wasn't the one driving. He doesn't go out with "friends" much, so this was a new experience for me. Hang in there. It DOES get better. And then it gets almost nice because you don't have to chauffer them all around.
