Man the weekends are too short. JR worked both days, but they were so busy that he said the time flew by, plus he made $4 in tips, so he liked that And he got his first paycheck on Saturday, that made him say, “It’s all worth it.”

I spent the weekend doing laundry, cleaning up the house, and watching movies. It was 110 both days, so spending as much time inside as we could seemed to be the best idea. We did go to a house warming party Saturday afternoon, and spent the day around the pool. Good friends, good food, and Washington Apple shots. YUM!

Justin spent his weekend skating as usual. How he can stand to be outside on the hot asphalt is beyond me, but it seems to not bother him. The crew does take pit stops at houses along the way, so they were all here for about an hour on Sunday, and they went through two pitchers of pink lemonade.

Now it’s back to the grind of work and school. I wish the weekends were longer.
