Backing up your files is so important. I can’t tell you how many times I have lost something very important when I had a hardware failure. It’s just the worst feeling in the world. HATE IT! I have an EHD that I put everything on now, but that could die, just like my friend Amy’s did.

There is a solution though by using an online backup service like IDrive. They offer 2 gigs of storage for free, and unlimited storage for $4.95 a month. If you are using the free service and you realize you are going to be needing more space you can easily upgrade to the IDrive-E Pro version. It’s pretty straight forward, check them out. I seriously need to get this added to my list of things to do.

I had a busy day today, running all over the city, but I got a lot done that I have been putting off, so in the end it’s good. I’m just tired, and way behind on blogs and emails. Plus I hate missing out on anything that might be happening. HEH!

I went and filed the police report in Las Vegas, that I needed to show to the collection agency, for the douche bag that used my name and social to get a home phone. I went in with my paperwork from the company, and my print out from Google where I searched the phone number and came up with my name and the address the phone was in. I also checked the address on the Clark County Assessors office and printed out the owners information.

Unfortunately it was filed as a courtesy complaint because the statue of limitations has run out for them to investigate. I told her that when they defaulted on the bill, the notices would have went to that resident, and only when it was turned over to collections did they find me and send me a notice. How was I to know?

Regardless, they get away with committing a crime, but I have the paperwork I now need to clear the debt out of my name. I was surprised to see that identity theft is a Class 1 Felony though. I guess I just had never thought about it. Damn, I wish they could have busted their sorry asses!

Too bad I didn’t know a Tony Soprano that could go over there and curb stomp their face like he did to Coco. Yes, it would make me feel better.

I want to go to Hawaii. More importantly, I want to go to Hawaii and meet my blogging friend Skeet. She’d be a blast to hang around with, and it would be so much fun to go to the beach with her and look at the hot dock guys that she’s blogged about before. Hawaii vacations just look like so much fun, and such a great place to relax and get back in touch with nature.

Even though it’s a big tourist destination the locals of Hawaii have made sure that the beauty of the island has been kept in tact. The spirit of the land is referred to as “aina,” and the local hotels and vacation rentals make sure they keep the aina alive by building their properties to have the least impact possible on the precious local land and wildlife.

Tomorrow is my post op doctors appointment in the morning. I’ve been putting off running a few errands, so I just might try to get them all ran while I am out tomorrow. I’ll probably need a nap when I get home, heh. I can’t believe it’s been 3 weeks already.

I had a couple of bad days here and there, but I am really starting to feel like my normal self again. YAY! I got a sweet get well card in the mail today from my favorite hippy, Lisa Marie. Thanks Lisa, that was really thoughtful of you!

My cats are just as much a part of my family as my kids are. Well maybe not as much, but close enough. They are spoiled and pampered, and probably would turn their noses up at luxury cat beds. They would much rather be up on our bed cuddling with us.

They wouldn’t turn down any cat toys though. They love their toys, and they play with them all time, especially our kitten. The Gilded Paw has the cutest accessories for cats, and even dogs.
