I also had my post op appointment today. (warning - this may be a little gross) We went over the pathology report, and we talked about how the surgery went exactly. For starters there is no cancer. Not that they thought there was, it’s just a routine test they do. My uterus measured 12 cm, and was the size of a uterus in it’s 12th week of pregnancy. He said it was very, very hard to get out because of it’s size and the fibroids that had attached themselves to other parts. There was also deep tissue endometriosis that he wasn’t even aware of from my ultrasound. He had to literally take it out in pieces, and it was nothing like he has ever seen. I asked him if he had taken pictures, and he laughed and said no. DARN! I would have liked to see them, but then again, I’m kind of weird like that.
But he said I’m a great healer, and everything looked wonderful. I even lost 7 pounds, which doesn’t surprise me, I gave birth after all
So the question is, would I do it all over again? HELL YEAH! And if you are thinking about having it done, and having trouble deciding if you can live with the pain and all the bleeding, I say run to your OB/GYN and schedule the surgery now. It truly was the best thing I could have ever done. I feel better and happier than I have in YEARS!

Karen ~ It’s really a very personal choice, and I understand her hesitation. It really was a great thing for me.

I’m glad all is well! I probably have endometriosis too… though they say surgery is necessary to find out. And since I started using Agnus Castus, the pains are much much less.
